Marchbank Hotel

March Bank Hotel is a small family-run country hotel on a hilltop at Scotsdyke near Carlisle, set in five acres on the border between England and Scotland. Built in 1850 as a shooting lodge for the Graham estate, it has six en-suite bedrooms and a detached bothy. The restaurant and bar serve local produce with game and smoked salmon among the specialities, and the whole hotel can be booked exclusively for weddings.
